What is Brawl Stars Championship 2022?

Brawl Stars Championship 2021 (#BSC2021) is the official, global competition for Brawl Stars. The Tournament consists of eight (8) seasons, and seasons consist of three (3) phases: a global Championship Challenge, regional Monthly Qualifiers and regional Monthly Finals. The competition will lead up to World Finals to be held at the end of the year.

How can I join the competition?

All Players are welcome to join the competition through the monthly in-app Championship Challenge. While the Championship Challenge is open to all Players, please note that only those who are 16+ years of age may compete in the next stage in the competition (the Monthly Qualifier) and beyond.

Is there a cost to enter the Tournament?

No -- Brawl Stars Championship Tournaments are free to enter!

When and where can I watch the competition?

The Monthly Finals will be broadcast once a month for each of the 6 regions. Keep an eye out on the front page of esports.brawlstars.com, as well as the in-game Esports News section for links to our broadcasts!

What formats will the competition use?

Championship Challenge - Win 15 times to advance to the next round!

Monthly Qualifiers - All Players who have successfully completed the Championship Challenge and are 16+ years of age or older, will be invited to compete in a Double Elimination Bracket held the weekend after the Championship Challenge.

Monthly Finals - The Top 8 Teams from each Monthly Qualifier will compete in a Single Elimination bracket held on the weekends following the week after the Monthly Qualifiers.

How do I qualify for World Finals?

Teams will earn and accumulate points over the seven (7) seasons via the Monthly Qualifiers and Monthly Finals. The Top Teams in each participating region will advance to World Finals.

What measures are taken to promote fair play in BSC?

There will be ongoing investigations of all competitors’ game accounts.

Players that have shared their account with anyone in the past two months risk having their account suspended, which would disqualify it from current tournaments.
Players that have obtained a significant amount of gems from anywhere other than an official Supercell store may be banned.
Players that have purchased their account are likely to have their account banned.

How can I compete in Monthly Qualifiers if I don’t have a team?

All Players who have advanced to the Monthly Qualifiers will be invited to join a Discord channel where they may look for team members.

What do Roster Rules look like this year?

Teams are expected to form and maintain their own rosters. Teams may have up to four (4) Players on their roster at any given time, and they can remove Players at their leisure so long as they maintain at least 2 Players at all times, even in-between seasons. There are some limitations to picking up players, so be sure to read the full Ruleset before tinkering too much!
